Report: Chelsea want Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as Eden Hazard replacement

Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a bid for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as they prepare to lose the unsettled Eden Hazard.

Hazard inspired the Blues to the Premier League title last season, but has not scored a single league goal for the capital club this term.

It is understood that the Belgian will seek a move either this month or at the end of the season, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all said to be in the running for the attacker.

According to The Sun, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been identified as a possible replacement for Hazard, with the England international said to be seeking a fresh challenge.

The 22-year-old has made more substitute league appearances for Arsenal than he has starts and it is widely accepted that the attacker is not first choice for the Gunners when Arsene Wenger has a squad free of injury.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is also believed to be keen on regular playing time in the second half of the season ahead of Euro 2016.
