“Respect, LeBron – Zubac Praises NBA Legend for Breaking Scoring Record”

Los Angeles Clippers centre Ivica Zubac has sent a heartfelt message to LeBron James, praising the basketball legend for breaking the NBA’s all-time scoring record.

Zubac, who briefly played alongside James during the 2018–19 season at the Los Angeles Lakers, shared his thoughts over six years after being traded to the Clippers. Despite their short time together, Zubac has deep respect for James’ incredible achievement.

Speaking about LeBron overtaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s long-standing record in 2023, Zubac said:

“I thought it was pretty hard to reach that record. Props to LeBron – he’s been doing it at a high level for so long. What he’s doing at his age is something no one’s ever done before. It just shows how serious he is about his game, how much he looks after his body, and how committed he is to improving.”

LeBron James, now 40 years old, still plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and shows no signs of slowing down. He has a $52.6 million player option this summer, but fans know that as long as he’s on the court, he will keep making history.

Zubac’s words are a reminder of the deep admiration players across the league have for LeBron – not just for his records, but for his work ethic, longevity, and love for the game.
