Sadio Mane’s wife denies marrying for money and fame

Aisha Tamba, the wife of Senegalese football star Sadio Mane, has dismissed rumors suggesting that her marriage to the former Liverpool forward was motivated by money.

The couple recently tied the knot in a private ceremony in Dakar, Senegal.

In a conversation with Dailymail, Tamba emphasized that her focus is not on Mane’s wealth and fame. She expressed anticipation for her new life but clarified that she does not feel any pressure due to Mane’s status.

“I am looking forward to my new life, and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in,” Tamba stated.

Asserting her commitment to humility and faith, Tamba highlighted that she is not accustomed to having significant attention on her personal life, as their family prefers privacy.

“I will remain a humble person committed to my faith. I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down-to-earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage,” she added.

While acknowledging the honor of being Mrs. Mane, Tamba’s remarks reflect a commitment to maintaining a grounded and private lifestyle despite her husband’s high-profile status in the world of football.

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane is away on international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

Mane who now plays for Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr will hope to inspire Senegal to defence of the AFCON title won at the last edition.
