South Africa arrive Uyo for Super Eagles clash

The Bafana Bafana of South Africa have arrived in Uyo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The South African contingent did not have an easy journey to Uyo, where they will play the matchday three fixture.

According to updates from the traveling South Africans, their journey was marred by multiple flight  delays one that ensured they slept over in Port Harcourt on Wednesday night.

SportsRation can exclusively confirm that the visiting South Africa team landed in Uyo on Thursday, June 6, 2024 by 10;28am.

Upon arrival , Bafana Bafana were conveyed to the Four Points by Sheraton in Ikot Ekpene, their base for the game on Friday, June 7.

Hugo Broos and his men will have their only training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo by 8pm.

The Nigeria vs South Africa 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier will kickoff by 8pm on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
