Super Eagles Midfielder Saviour Isaac Trains With Hometown Club in Eket
Super Eagles midfielder Saviour Isaac is back in Akwa Ibom State for the holidays and has been spotted training with his hometown club, Krane Football Club, in Eket.
Saviour, who was part of the Super Eagles team that won the Unity Cup in London and played in the friendly match against Russia, joined the players of Krane FC at the Eket Stadium on Monday, 16 June 2025.
An indigene of Eket Local Government Area, Saviour is enjoying time at home after a busy football season. He currently plays for Rangers International of Enugu, where he has spent two seasons since moving from Vandrezzer FC.
The talented midfielder, who is fondly called “Deco” by fans and teammates, continues to show his love for his roots by joining local players in training while on break.
Two weeks ago, Saviour Isaac was in the squad for Eric Chelle tutored Super Eagles in the Unity Cup games against Ghana and Jamaica, and also for the friendly match against Russia which ended 1-1 in Moscow.
After his starring performance for the home based Super Eagles in the qualifiers for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN), Saviour Isaac is expected to make the final roster for the tournament later this year.
