Tennis update: Rafael Nadal to retire after Davis Cup as Jannik Sinner eyes ATP Finals glory

Tennis legend Rafael Nadal is nearing the end of his remarkable career, with the Davis Cup in Malaga set to be his farewell tournament.

The 38-year-old Spaniard announced he would retire after playing for Spain alongside rising star Carlos Alcaraz. However, there are hints that Nadal might reconsider his decision to step away from the sport.

Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner is aiming to finish an outstanding year as world No. 1 with a victory in the ATP Finals. The Italian secured his spot in the final after a dominant 6-1, 6-2 win over Casper Ruud in the semi-finals.

Sinner will face Taylor Fritz, who stunned Alexander Zverev with a hard-fought 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3) win in the other semi-final. The final in Turin promises an exciting clash as both players seek to end the season on a high.
