Osimhen, back in the starting lineup after missing the previous match, was lively throughout the game. He led many of Galatasaray’s attacks and gave the home fans and his special visitors plenty to celebrate.

Dries Mertens scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the 17th minute. But the big moment came in the 81st minute when Osimhen scored a powerful header, sending the crowd into loud celebration.

That goal took his total to 26 league goals and 37 in all competitions this season a fantastic record.

He was taken off in the 88th minute and received a standing ovation from fans, who have supported him all season.

Osimhen’s strong performance, full of energy and sharp finishing, gave his fans, including those who travelled from Nigeria, a perfect farewell to remember.
