U17 World Cup: Golden Eaglets Captain, Tijani Confident Of A Good Outing

Captain of the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria to the FIFA U17 World, Samson Tijani has expressed confidence in the ability of the team to do Nigeria proud as they go for a record sixth title.

Tijani, who was speaking from the team’s base in Sao Paulo said the team remains focused and ready on the final camping exercise ahead of their group opener against Hungary on the 26th of October, 2019.

Nigeria will hold her first training session this Friday at 1pm Nigeria time.

The Golden Eaglets are in Group B of the FIFA U17 World Cup alongside Hungary, Brazil and Australia.
