UCL Quarterfinal Draw: Chukwueze’s Villarreal get Bayern as Chelsea face Real Madrid

Samuel Chukwueze’s Villarreal have been drawn against almighty Bayern Munich as the 2021/22 Champions League Quarterfinal, Semifinal, and final draws were made today in Nyon.

After a remarkable victory against Italian giants Juventus in the second round, Villarreal now face favourites Bayern Munich in the quarterfinal.

Chelsea are to play Real Madrid first in London but this draw could be reversed as both Atletico Madrid and Real can’t play home in the first tie.

The rule decided in favour of Atleti as Spanish champions.

But according to reports from Madrid, they will protest the decision.

Defending champions Chelsea will travel to Spain to face Real Madrid in the first leg with the second leg to be played in London.

Portuguese champions Benfica will host another favourites Liverpool while Manchester City and Atletico Madrid face off.

Atletico Madrid who defeated Manchester United in the second round fixtures will travel to the City of Manchester again this time to play Manchester City.
