UECL Round of 16 Draw: Chukwueze, Moffi, Musa learn opponents
West Ham United, Gent, Fiorentina still in competition
The draws for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League have been held in Nyon, Switzerland following the conclusion of the playoff ties.
Super Eagles and Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze will take his talents to Belgium for a two-legged tie with struggling giants Anderlecht. The Belgian outfit came through a playoff tie against Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad. Anderlecht have another Nigerian, Ishaq Abdulrazak on their books.
New OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi will get his first taste of European football when his team faces FC Sheriff Tiraspol over two legs in the Europa Conference League Round of 16. The Moldovan side has Akanbi Rasheed and Iyayi Believe on its books. They defeated Partizan Belgrade to reach the last 16.
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa will feature for Sivasspor in the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16 against Italian outfit Fiorentina. The Italian side defeated SC Braga over two legs in the Playoffs.
New rave Gift Orban helped KAA Gent reach the Last 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League after overcoming Qarabag in the playoffs. The Belgian outfit will now do battle with Istanbul Basaksehir for a place in the quarterfinals of the competition.
English Premier League outfit West Ham United will face AEK Larnaca in the Round of 16. Larnaca came through a playoff tie against Ukrainian side Dnipro to reach the last 16.
Italian side SS Lazio will face Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16. Lazio overcame Romanian side CFR Cluj in the playoffs to reach the last 16 of the competition.
Lech Poznan will face Swedish side Djugardens IF in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The Polish side overcame Bodo/Glimt in the playoffs.
Swiss giants FC Basel will face Slovan Bratislava in the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16. The Swiss side defeated Trabzonspor in the playoffs to reach the last 16.
