UEL Draw: Manchester United draw another Spanish side, Juventus to face Sporting

Roma, Mourinho set for Feyenoord reunion

Following the UEL Draw in Nyon, Manchester United will do battle with Spanish outfit Sevilla in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils defeated FC Barcelona and Real Betis to reach this stage of the competition. Sevilla, on the other hand, defeated Fenerbahce in their Round of 16 tie.

Italian giants Juventus were drawn against Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon for the Europa League quarterfinals. The embattled side overcame the test of Freiburg in the last 16 while Sporting secured a shock win over Arsenal. The winners of the tie will face the winners of the Manchester United-Sevilla clash.

German side Bayer Leverkusen were pitted against top scorer Victor Boniface’s Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEL Draw. The German side defeated Ferencvaros in the Round of 16. Union Saint-Gilloise overcame another German side, Union Berlin, to reach the quarterfinals.

Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma will renew their rivalry with Dutch side Feyenoord. Both sides will face in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League after meeting in the final of the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League last season. Roma defeated Real Sociedad and Feyenoord defeated Shakhtar Donetsk.
