Umar Sadiq scored his 14th and 15th league goal in Almeria’s 3-3 home draw against Lugo in a La Liga Smartbank game on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker who was named the La Liga Smartbank player for the month of February celebrated the award with two great goals.
Umar Sadiq opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the game after pouncing on a ball from Francisco Portillo but his side were pegged back by Pablo Claveria 37th minute strike.
Sadiq and Francisco Portillo combined again to give Almeria the lead again in the three minutes into the second half.
Lugo equalized in the 67th minute through Pablo Claveria, five minutes after scoring the equalizer, Pablo Claveria went from hero to zero after scoring an own goal to put Almeria up again.
And again, Lugo pulled back in the 79th minute through Jose Angel Carrillo.
Sadiq scored his 15th league goal in the 26 games to go one goal behind top scorer Christian Stuani.
