Warriors hand NBA Christmas whooping to Grizzlies to remind Morant of the Wild Wild West

The Golden State Warriors who were without the reigning finals MVP, Steph Curry, and two-way, Andrew Wiggins defeated Memphis Grizzlies 123-109 on Christmas day.

This match was one of the most anticipated games in the NBA this season after the incidents between both teams during and after last year’s playoff games.

Last season, the Golden State Warriors defeated Memphis Grizzlies 4-2 in the Western Conference semis to book a place in the finals.

Different things happened on and off the court during and after the series that caused bad blood between both teams.

There were issues between Dillon Brooks and Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole and Ja Morant, and Draymond Green and Ja Morant.

With Steph Curry, and Andrew Wiggins out of this contest, it just looked like the Grizzlies will have a field day but the opposite was the case.

As the Golden State Warriors once again showed why they are the reigning champs by giving Ja Morant his first Christmas day L just as they trashed the high-flying Celtics and Tatum a few weeks back.

In fact, Ja Morant during an interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews said he was fine in the West when asked about the teams he was studying.

Malika Andrews: “Who do you look at around the league as you’re studying and say, ‘We’re gonna have to run through them?'”

Ja Morant: “Celtics”

Malik Andrews: “No one in the West.”

Ja Morant: “Nah. I’m fine in the West.”

But the Warriors made light work of Ja Morant and the Grizzlies to remind Ja Morant he has to worry about the Wild Wild West.

Both teams still have three more games to play against one another during the regular season.
