Watch as Andre Onana’s incredible ball distribution sets up Inter’s 3rd goal against Barcelona

Football has evolved, and one of its major advancements is that goalkeepers are expected to be outfield players or outlets for ball distributions.

Goalkeepers who can join the defenders in playing out from the back are in high demand by top teams and any goalie with that attribute stands out from the rest.

Former Barcelona player, Andre Onana showed today in the game involving his new club Inter Milan and his former club, why it is important for goalies to be able to help with quality distribution with their feet.

Onana played a midfielder-like pass from his goalpost to Lautaro Martinez who then teed up Robin Gosens for Inter Milan’s third goal.

Robert Lewandowski equalized for Barcelona with his second goal of the night as both teams settled for a 3-3 draw.
