Odion Ighalo Manchester United future may be in doubt after reports that Manchester United are not in a hurry to speak with his agent and Shanghai Shenhua and club over a permanent deal.
The former Watford striker and his agent has repeatedly expressed their decision to remain at Manchester United for the rest of his career but there hasn’t been an offer from the English club.
And the reason why there hasn’t been an offer from Manchester United have been revealed according to Sky Sports’ James Cooper.
James Cooper believes the return of injured English striker, Marcus Rashford is the reason Manchester United are relaxed about talking with Odion Ighalo, his agent and Shanghai Shenhua over a permanent deal.
‘There is less need for Odion Ighalo since Marcus Rashford is now fully fit,‘ said Sky Sports.
It would be surprising to see what happens when Odion Ighalo’s loan deal expires next Friday, May 31st.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in keeping him until the end of the season but his parent club Shanghai Shenhua want him back.
