Why Zidane is successful where Mourinho and Ancelotti failed at Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane deserves a lot of credit for what he has achieved at Real Madrid so far in 18 months in charge of the Spanish giants.

The players take the credit most of the time and especially when you have the sort of squad at his disposal at Madrid you could easily give it to the players than the manager, but this is Real Madrid where when you lose you are out of the door.

Zinedine Zidane has shown so far in charge of Real Madrid is that he isn’t a fluke but a real deal and here to stay. He already has included his name in Real Madrid’s legend not only as a player but also as a manager.

Zinedine Zidane is the 7th manager in Real Madrid’s history to win 4+ titles with the club, and the quickest one to ever do so.

He is the first French manager in 47 years to win La Liga title, and just the second in history.

Manuel Pellegrini, Carlo Ancelotti, and Rafael Benitez couldn’t win the La Liga nor could Jose Mourinho win the UEFA Champions League for Real Madrid but in 18 months he has ticked both boxes and could further put his name in an exclusive list.

If he beats Juventus in the UEFA Champions League final on June 3rd he would become the first manager to win the trophy back to back.

Jose Mourinho, Rafael Benitez and Carlo Ancelotti couldn’t take out Cristiano Ronaldo when they wanted for their fear of backlash from the Superstar but this season Zinedine Zidane successfully did that to the benefit of the Portuguese and the club.

The way he managed the first team, Cristiano Ronaldo and his fringe players this season deserves to be laud and that is the key to what they’ve achieved so far this season considering how influential their dressing room is.

His pedigree as a great player and someone they all must have looked up to at a point in their careers must have played a great role in what he’s been able to achieve in the dressing and he deserves more praises than given so far.

Would Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini or Rafael Benetiz try rotating Cristiano Ronaldo? maybe not.

Zinedine  Zidane is faced with any trick task this weekend on whether he continues with Isco who has been wonderful or restore Bale back to starting line up. With what and how he has achieved all he has so far we can conclude the three-time world footballer of the year is equal to the task.
