Townsend completes his £12m move from Tottenham to Newcastle

England International, Andros Townsend has completed his £12million move from Tottenham to Newcastle.

Andros Townsend, 24, passed his medical earlier on Wednesday and has completed a £12million move from Spurs.

He will earn around £55,000-a-week – more than three times his Tottenham wage – after penning a five-year deal.

Newcastle boss Steve McClaren is hoping he will become a key player in the Magpies team and Townsend is set to start next week’s Premier League game at Everton.
