AFCON 2019: Eagles to get N13.5m each for devouring Lions of Cameroon

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will get the sum of $37,500 (13.5m naira) for beating the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

The 2013 champions powered past the defending champions to book a place in the quarter-final where South Africa is waiting.

Captain Hosa Okunbo has promised to give the players $20,000 each as bonus.

The Lagos State government promised to give each player $5,000 while the NFF will pay each player $12,500 as earlier agreed with the players.

In addition, AITEO promised $75,000 for the three goals scored this increased the sum for each player to $37,500 which is 13.5 m in naira.
