Al-Hilal Could Earn Over $400 Million from Ronaldo Deal
Saudi football club Al-Hilal could make huge profits more than $400 million if they manage to sign Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, according to a report from Asharq Al-Awsat.
If the deal goes ahead, Al-Hilal’s management is planning big changes to the team. This would include letting go of some foreign players and bringing in more local players on permanent contracts.
Cristiano Ronaldo, currently the captain of Al-Nassr, entered the final months of his contract back in January. That means he’s now free to talk to other clubs and agree a move without needing permission from Al-Nassr.
Al-Hilal will begin their FIFA Club World Cup campaign with a major match against Spanish giants Real Madrid on 18 June at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, USA.
If Ronaldo joins Al-Hilal, it would be one of the club’s biggest signings ever — not just for marketing, but also for building a strong team that can compete both in Asia and around the world.
