Al Nasr 2 Muscat 2: Daniel Etor scores brace against former club to rescue point for new club

Daniel Etor was the talking point of the rescheduled fixture between Al Nasr and Muscat at the Al-Saada stadium on Tuesday.

The former Enugu Rangers attacker scored two goals for Muscat against Al Nasr his former club on the ground he was adored as king during his spells at the Omani side.

Etor Daniel scored both goals in the first half for his new side against familiar faces but was deny the maximum points on his return to the Al-Saada stadium.

The former Enyimba did not celebrate any of his goals and he told sportsration.com via chat the reason he didn’t and how he felt about his goals for his new side.

“I am happy I was able to help my team secure a valuable point today.

“Although, the goals were against my former club, a club I also respect alot but I had a job to do for my new employers.

“I couldn’t celebrate the goals because of the respect I have for Al Nasr fans and my former teammates, he said.”

Etor Daniel has scored a total of four goals, assisted three goals in as many as nine league games.
