Arsenal set to lose Folarin Balogun as Southampton join AC Milan and Brentford in chase of the youngster
Arsenal are set to lose a highly rated player in Folarin Balogun as Southamptoon become the latest club to indicate interest in the youngster.
Arsenal are reportedly resolved into losing Folarin Balogun after failing to agree a new deal with the New York born of Nigerian descent.
With The Gunners not willing to lose the youngster on a free when his contract expires next summer, they are now open to selling him now.
Southampton are the latest club to have indicated interest in the youngster but before them were Brentford who reportedly offered £5million to sign him in January but Arsenal turned down the bid.
Italian giants, AC Milan have also been linked with the highly rated player.
Folarin Balogun scored 28 goals in 28 youth appearances for Arsenal last season, including 25 in just 19 games at under-18 level.
This season he has scored another 10 goals in just 15 appearances for Arsenal’s under-23s.
