Beauty, Brains, Baller: Rasheedat Ajibade bags university diploma

Super Falcons star follows footsteps of Awoniyi, Ndidi

Nigerian footballers have been making the news for their off-the-field activities as much as their activities on the field of play. This time, Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade is the latest one to make the news.

Ajibade, who features for Spanish side Atletico Madrid Femenina, was recently awarded diplomas after the completion of her studies at the El Roi London University. The 22-year-old completed diplomas in Sports Management and Coaching Psychology, possibly in preparation for life after the conclusion of her professional playing career. She previously held degrees in Accounting and Sports Psychology.

Quickly becoming one of the nation’s favourite female footballers, Ajibade has her distinct look with her blue hair. Despite her tender years, she is one of the Super Falcons’ senior players. She was one of the team’s best players at the 2022 WAFCON in Morocco and captained the Super Falcons in both of their friendlies against the United States of America earlier this month.

Rasheedat Ajibade seemingly has a long career ahead of her given her age, but like Super Eagles stars Taiwo Awoniyi and Wilfred Ndidi, she has chosen to arm herself for the future by means of university education.
