As Cavs beat the Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard Dillon Brooks has been labeled the dirties player by fans after what looks like an attempt to injure Donavan Mitchell on Thursday night.

Dillon Brooks has been labeled NBA’s ‘dirties’ player by fans after what looks like an attempt to injure Donavan Mitchell in Grizzlies’ 128-113 defeat to Cavs on Thursday.

The 27-year-old shooting guard who has been under the microscope in recent weeks over various on-court issues has given everyone another reason to continue to talk about him.

Darius Garland scored 32 points, and D’Tigers Isaac Okoro also contributed 11 points to help Cleveland Cavaliers beat Memphis Grizzlies at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Donovan Mitchell and Dillion Brooks couldn’t finish the game as they were both thrown out of the game midway into the third quarter after a brawl broke out.

Dillion Brooks looked to be the instigator of the fight after what looks like an intentional attempt to hurt Donavan Mitchell.

What led to the fight between Brooks and Mitchell?

Dillion Brooks attempted a layup which was flatly rejected by Donovan Mitchell who was making himself useful in the defense after a not-so-good day offensively.

The Canadian fell on the floor, and instead of standing up, he rolled towards Donavan Mitchell’s ankle and also hit his groin.

Donovan Mitchell reacted by pushing him and throwing the ball at him. This led to a huge brawl and both players were ejected.

Brooks was given a Flagrant 2 foul, while Mitchell was ejected for his role in the altercation.

Donavan Mitchell who will be playing in his fourth all-star game had six points after shooting 2-of-11 from the field. Brooks had nine points and two rebounds.

Most of the fans who saw the game and the incident are calling Brooks NBA dirtiest player.
