CAF CL: Plateau United FC announce launch of Plateau United TV as part of preparations for AS Mandji clash

Nigerian club Plateau United FC have announced it’s TV platform will be launched with live streaming of the CAF Champions League first preliminary round 2nd leg tie vs AS Mandji on Sunday September 18.

 

The TV channel available on YouTube according to a report via the clubs media unit will give fans opportunity to stream matches beginning with the CAF Champions League return leg Vs AS Mandji .

 

For the game on Sunday , Plateau United players on Saturday evening had a feel of the pitch at the MKO Abiola Stadium as they finalised preparations .

 

The session supervised by Coach Fidelis Illechukwu and his wards included light workout and tactical demonstrations for the game on Sunday.

 

The 2-2 first aggregate result gifts the Peace boys a 2 goals aggregate advantage over their Gabonesse visitors ahead of the second leg .

 

“We are glad we got a draw in Gabon and scored two away goals. We could have even won the game but we had some slips, ” Plateau United player Daniel Itodo told the club media unit .

 

” That game however has come and gone. We are not thinking about it anymore. Sunday’s game is a new game and we will take it as if it is a final. ”

 

“The mood in the camp is a good one and I am optimistic we shall come out victorious and qualify for the next round,” The defender concluded .

 

To ensure the players get enough support from the stands , Plateau United FC have also announced that the gates of the MKO Abiola Stadium will be thrown open for fans to come and cheer the team while those who can’t make it can watch the match live on the club’s new YouTube channel.

 

The winner of the game will face Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis in the next round of the 2022/2023 CAF Champions League.
