CAF releases dates for AFCON, World Cup qualifiers
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been slated to continue their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series in November 2020.
Their double header tie against Sierra Leone which was initial scheduled to take place in March will now hold between November 9 to 17, 2020.
The penultimate and ultimate qualifying matches are fixed for March 22-30, 2021.
The next international window in May/June will see the commencement of the second round of the World Cup qualifiers.
For the round, the Eagles are pitted against Cape Verde, Central African Republic and Liberia in Group C.
Finally, the ten group winners from the second round will be drawn into five home-and-away ties in the playoff round scheduled for November 8-16, 2021.
