Christian Eriksen Scores On His Return To The International Stage .

- Scores Two minutes after Coming On As Substitute In Denmark's loss to Netherlands.

Christian Eriksen scored his 37th international goal two minutes after coming off the bench for Denmark who were 4-2 losers to Netherlands in Saturday’s International Friendly .

Eriksen playing for his country for the first time since his cardiac arrest at the  European Championship last June received a rousing reception by Fans and officials of both teams.

Ericksen could have had a second when he turned outside the area, but curled a superb strike against the post. 

Netherlands emerged Victorious 4-2 in the friendly match. Tottenham’s Steven Bergwijn scored twice plus goals by Nathan Ake and Memphis Depay for Netherlands

Jannik Vestergaard goal and Christian Ericksen scored the two Denmark goals. It was Eriksen’s 110th cap For Denmark .

The 30 year old came on as a second-half substitute to huge cheers from the crowd at Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, home of his former club Ajax.

Eriksen will get more minutes with Denmark scheduled to face Serbia in another friendly encounter this International window.
