Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes Football’s First Billionaire

Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi club Al Nassr, has become the first footballer in history to earn over £1 billion.

The 40-year-old star moved to the Middle East in 2023, after his contract with Manchester United was ended.

He then signed a massive deal with Al Nassr, earning £173 million per year.

Now, after agreeing to a new and even bigger contract, Ronaldo is expected to earn around £492 million over the next two years.

This huge amount has pushed his total career earnings past the £1 billion mark.

According to Bloomberg, Ronaldo’s total net worth is now about $1.4 billion (around £1.045 billion), making him the first footballer ever to reach billionaire status.
