Curry ´ignoring´ LeBron´s MVP remarks

LeBron James spoke his piece about Stephen Curry’s unanimous NBA Most Valuable Player award earlier this week, but the Golden State Warriors star is not paying attention.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward James said that Curry “definitely deserved” the MVP, but said that the “valuable” part was ambiguous.

On the record, Curry said he does not have a response.

“I’ve gotten really good at ignoring people,” Curry told reporters when asked about James’ remarks on his second MVP award.

“That is the theme of the last two years. So I’m good.”

James – a four-time MVP who finished one vote away from an unanimous declaration in 2013 – caused a stir when he claimed: “I think sometimes the word ‘valuable’ or best player of the year, you can have different results.

“When you talk about most ‘valuable’ then you can have a different conversation.”

The pair could come together in the NBA Finals for a second consecutive season, if defending champions the Warriors and Cavaliers make it through the respective conference matchups.
