During the team’s visit to the National Sports Commission (NSC) in Abuja on Tuesday, Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko and Director General Hon. Bukola Olopade pledged full support for the squad, announcing enhanced welfare packages, including increased bonuses and allowances, to motivate the players.
Mallam Dikko reaffirmed the NSC’s commitment to athlete welfare, stating, “We know the sacrifices these players make for the country. The new incentives are our way of recognising their efforts and ensuring they are well-motivated to deliver another historic performance.”
