Gattuso’s Napoli beat Ronaldo and Sarri’s Juventus to win the Coppa Italia
Milan Legend Gennaro Gattuso has led Napoli to their first trophy in six years after a penalty shootout win against Juventus in the Coppa Italia final.
The sacked Milan manager, Gennaro Gattuso, with just 17 games in charge secured his first major title as manager and Napoli 6th Coppa Italia title.
After a goalless draw during the normal regulation the game header for shootout where Napoli ended 4-2 winners.
Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t get a chance to kick a a penalty as Danilo and Paulo Dybala missed theirs before him.
The win for Gennaro Gatuso is ironical as Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri failed to win any title for Napoli despite managing over 147 while in charge of the club.
While Maurizio Sarri only club remains the Europa League title he won at Chelsea last season.
