Gernot Rohr will not embarrass himself because he wants Victor Moses to come out retirement

Super Eagles headcoach Gernot Rohr is desperate to have Victor Moses back in his team but will not do the unthinkable in the process.

Victor Moses announced his retirement last year August to focus on his club career. Since he retired Samuel Kalu, Henry Onyekuru have filled his vacant spot with ease.

Despite qualifying for the 2019 AFCON without him and with talents such as Simon Moses, Samuel Kalu, Henry Onyekuru and Samuel Chukwueze who is one of the most coveted young wingers in Europe.

Gernot Rohr is willing to take Victor Moses to Egypt if he reconsider his retirement decision but he will not ‘kneel’ for him to come back to the team.

“We tried to convince him not to withdraw but he made his choice.

“If he comes back on this decision, it’s up to him to tell us. We are open to dialogue but we will not kneel to ask a player to return.”

Do you think the Super Eagles need Victor Moses at 2019 AFCON?
