Joel Embiid Records Triple-Double as Philadelphia 76ers Beat Milwaukee Bucks 127–116

Joel Embiid produced an outstanding all-round performance as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 127–116 to extend their winning start to the 2026–27 NBA season.

Embiid finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, recording the 10th triple-double of his NBA career. His contribution highlighted his ability to influence the game beyond scoring, helping Philadelphia maintain control against a Milwaukee side still searching for its first victory of the campaign.

Tyrese Maxey added 26 points, four rebounds and four assists, providing another major scoring contribution for the 76ers. Jaylen Brown also scored 27 points, while rookie VJ Edgecombe delivered 17 points and 13 rebounds to strengthen Philadelphia’s performance.

The Bucks remained competitive for much of the contest but struggled to contain Philadelphia’s offensive production. The 76ers made the most of their scoring opportunities and held on to secure an 11-point victory.

The result moved Philadelphia to 3–0, making the 76ers the first team to reach three wins in the 2026–27 season. Milwaukee, meanwhile, dropped to 0–3 after another difficult outing.

Embiid’s triple-double was the standout achievement of the night, but Philadelphia’s balanced scoring effort also demonstrated why the team has made such a strong start to the new campaign.
