Kano Pillars get New Interim management
A new Interim Management Committee has been appointed for Nigeria National League Club Kano Pillars FC with days to the promotion playoffs.
This is according to a release authorized by the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf and unviled to th public on Monday June 19.
Kano Pillars are battling to return to the top-flight of Nigerian football after its relegation in 2022.
The first task before the Babangida Little headed Interim board will be picking one of four available Nigeria Premier League tickets at the promotion playoffs in Asaba Delta State in July.
The new Kano Pillars FC Board has; Babangida Little as Chairman, Garba Umar, Naziru Aminu Abubakar, Bashir Chilla, Ali Nayara Mai Samba, Shuaibu Ibrahim Doguwa, Rabiu Pele, Muhammed Danjuma, Sabo Chokalinka, Engr. Usman Kofar Na’isa, Abba Haruna (Dala FM), Comrade Sani Ibrahim Coach, and Yakubu Pele.
Accordingly, interim board will be inaugurated on Tuesday June 20 (today) and will have exactly 11-days to galvanize the squad and prepare for the challenge of securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier League.
Pillars will battle the likes of DMD, EFCC and Katsina United FC all Nigeria National League Nothern Conference teams for the promotion ticket.
