Super Eagles inform defender Kenneth Omeruo has said he is fully focused on helping his current team Leganes escape relegation as clubs rally around him.
Kenneth Omeruo who was named in the Spanish La Liga player of the week 35 following his big role in Leganes goalless draw against Celta Vigo said his future will be determined by his parent club Chelsea.
“I can’t really say much about the transfer, rather I am just concentrating to help my team to finish in the top 10 at the end of the season.
“My staying back at Leganes will be determined after the season.
“My parent club Chelsea have the right to discuss my transfer to any other club, but for now I am with Leganes and I am just focused to end the season on a high with the team,” said Omeruo as quoted by ScoreNigeria.
With three games to the end of the La Liga season the race to avoid the drop is very intense with 13th placed Leganes with 42 points are just 7 points above the drop.
