Mikel Obi’s wife says nice things about Nigeria after recent royal visit
Mikel Obi’s wife, Olga Diyachenko, had some nice things to say about Nigerian women using memories of her visit to the country.
Olga, who is married to the former Super Eagles and Chelsea football star, shared her thoughts on social media.
Olga’s comments came after British royalty, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, wrapped up a three-day tour of Nigeria.
During their visit, Prince Harry played sitting volleyball with Nigerian army veterans, while Meghan hosted a women’s leadership event where she mentioned her Nigerian ancestry.
Olga, the daughter of a Russian billionaire, took to Instagram to express her admiration for Nigerian women. She posted a throwback photo from her 2018 visit to Nigeria, captioning it with the words: “Nigerian women are truly very special.”
Additionally, Olga reposted a video of Meghan Markle speaking at the women’s event, where Meghan referenced her Nigerian roots. Olga added a message expressing how she felt after her own visit to Nigeria.
