Nigeria 2 Mali 0: Uchenna Kanu’s 9th goal fires Falcons past Les Aiglonnes

US-based forward Uchenna Kanu was among the scorers as Super Falcons beat 10-player Mali 2-0 in their last group game clash at the ongoing WAFU B Cup in Abidjan.

Although both teams have made it to the last four having won their first two games, the clash was to decide the group winner.

It was a close encounter until Les Aiglonnes were reduced to 10-player in the 45th minute of the game.

Despite playing with a player more Falcons didn’t score their first goal until the 67th minute of the game through Rafiat Sule.

Uchenna Kanu scored the second goal of the game in the 92nd minute for her 9th goal of the campaign in 3 games.
