NNL Pre-season: Ibom Youths FC fly past Miracle Academy in 5-goal thriller
Nigeria National League side Ibom Youths FC on Friday morning defeated Miracle Football Academy 4-1 in a thrilling friendly game.
Ibom Youths Football Club is preparing for the 2023 NNL season which will get underway on Saturday March 4, 2023 with one fixture involving FC ONE Rockets and Warri Wolves.
Ibom Youths FC and other clubs will wait until March 18, for their first game a reason the Coach Emmanuel Ntuk tutored team elected the challenge of a test game vs Miracle Football Academy.
From the blast of the Referees whistle at the West Itam Sports Complex in Akwa Ibom State, the Orange Boys took charge of proceedings.

Adesola Francis will extend the lead to 3-0 in the 34th minute with a well taken shot after being played through by teammate Itoro Joseph.
Miracle Football Academy returned for the second half much better than the first, enjoying a rare spell of possession.
That will yield result in the 52nd minute as Nigeria U-17 invitee Utibe Friday raced past the opposition defenders to shoot through the legs of goalkeeper Nsisong Ekpo into the goal for 3-1.
After the goal, Ibom Youths FC made wholesale changes and soon reclaimed control of the game. The Orange Boys will go on to reclaim their three goal advantage just after the hour-mark.
Assistant Skipper, Nduke Augustine produced a sublime volley from 40-yards out to beat the Miracle Football Academy goalie for 4-1.
Both teams did create further chances in the final quater but it finished Ibom Youths FC 4-1 Miracle Football Academy.
