Osimhen scores in Napoli win over Udinese
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen scored one of the goals as Napoli defeated Udinese in the Italian Serie A on Wednesday night.
Osimhen calmly slotted past Marco Silvestri from a Matteo Politano through ball in the 39th minute.
That goal doubled the Partonopei’s lead after Polish star Piotr Zielinski has converted a spot kick, early in the match at the Diego Armando Maradona, Stadium.
Osimhen has seen his relationship with Head Coach, Rudi Garcia and the club after videos posted on the official Napoli TikTok mocked him for his penalty miss against Bologna and compared him to a coconut.
Unlike last weekend, Victor Osimhen exchanged pleasantries with manager Rudi Garcia, when he was taken off during the game.
Napoli went on to win 4-1, to cut gap on Inter Milan who fell at home to Sassuolo.
