President Buhari renames Abuja Stadium after MKO Abiola

The president of Nigeria, Mohammed Buhari has renamed the national stadium in Abuja after Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola as the country celebrate democracy day.

The number one citizen of the country made the announcement today as Nigeria celebrates the democracy day.

The national stadium has not hosted any of Super Eagles games in more than four years and now in a deplorable state.

Hopefully the stadium will now get the attention it requires now that it has the name of a national hero.
