Rohr: Nigeria will use Cameroon to show Nigerians that defeat to Madagascar was an accident

The Super Eagles haeadcoach is confident Nigera will bounce back against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon this Saturday.

Nigeria set up a second round clash against their rivals after enduring an embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Madagascar in their last group game.

The clash is Nigeria’s 7th AFCON clash against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon who had enjoyed great success against their rivals but Gernot Rohr is confident of win against Clarence Seedorf’s side.

“Our match vs. Cameroon could’ve been a final but we must play them in Round of 16.

“We’ve had plenty time to prepare & to omorrow we can show Nigerians that the loss against Madagascar was an accident.”

Of the six AFCON clashes between Nigeria and Cameroon; three have been in the finals 1984, 1988 and 2000.

The clash between Nigeria and Cameroon will played at the Alexandria Stadium on Saturday by 5 pm.
