Start 0 Rosenborg 1: Adegbenro fires Troillongan to 26th Norwegian league title as Azeez and Akinyemi near relegation

Nigerian striker Samuel Adegbenro scored the only at the Sparebanken Sor Arena to help Rosenborg win at IK Start and secured their 26th Norwegian league title.
Samuel Adegbenro who could only feature for Rosenborg in six league games this season because of injury may have put his setback behind him after back to back goals.
Samuel Adegbenro who scored in his sides 5-2 home lose to Salzburg in the Europa League on Thursday, scored yet another goal, this time the only goal that guaranteed the maximum points on Sunday.
Adegbenro’s 28 minutes strike ensured Rosenborg secured their 26th Norwegian title, the fourth consecutive league titles and also end their away campaign of the 2018 season with a win.
The win however, has put Nigerian duo Afeez Aremu and Akinyemi Adeleke IK Start’s in the danger of relegation.
With just one game to go, Akinyemi Adeleke who fired blank on Sunday must score the goal that will keep his side in the top flight football as they travel to 4th place Haugesund and hope for a favourable results in the game involving Stabaek and Stromsgodset.
