The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped in the latest FIFA Rankings.
Nigeria no longer 29th placed in the world and 3rd best team in Africa after the World Football Governing body, FIFA, released the rankings for the month of October.
The reason behind the drop may not be far fetched after the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to win any of their friendly games against the Fenecs of Algeria and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
Gernot Rohr and his boys who were without direction lost their first friendly 1-0 to Algeria and played a 1-1 draw against Tunisia in the second friendly.
Wins for Nigeria in both grade A friendlies would have pushed the Super Eagles to a good position but it what not meant to be.
Top of the African rankings are the Teranga Lions of Senegal who suffered a 3-1 loss to Morocco in their friendly while Algeria who pipped Nigeria are third and Tunisia second.
