U-23 Eagles: Outstanding Mfon Rowland gets invitation for U-23 AFCON qualifier
Dakkada FC right-back Mfon Rowland Edoho has been invited to the Nigeria U-23 Eagles team for the AFCON qualifiers Vs Guinea.
The Sir Monty Fc player has impressed on-loan at Dakkada Football Club, playing in all the nine (9) Nigeria Premier League games this season for the Chosen Ones.
For his outstanding performances, U-23 Eagles Head Coach Salisu Yusuf has as invited the youngster to camp as he prepares for the two-legged Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifier vs Guinea.
Nigeria will host the first leg of the final qualifying round clash at the Lekan Salami stadium in Ibadan on Wednesday March 22, 2023 before travelling to Guinea for the return leg.
The Aggregate winner of this clash books a place at the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations tournament which will serve as qualifying path for the Paris 2024 Olympic games.
Edoho and other recently invited players have since reported at the teams Chida hotel camp in Abuja as they continue preparations for the crucial engagements.
