WAFU Cup: Power outage at the LAT Dior Stadium interrupts Sierra Leone v Liberia clash

The WAFU Cup clash between neighbouring countries Sierra Leone and Liberia was abandoned because of power outage at the LAT Dior Stadium in Senegal.

A 40th minute strike by Suffian Kalokoh had put Sierra Leone in front before the power was interrupted in the 70th minute of the game forcing postponement of the game.

Upon resumption the next day, the Lone Stars held on to their 1-0 lead to advance to the next stage of the tournament.
