World Club Cup: Benzema, Courtois Ruled Out Of Al Ahly Clash
Real Madrid are set to be without the trio of Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema and Eder Militao for the FIFA World Club Cup clash with Al Ahly on Wednesday.
The trio missed the 1-0 loss to Real Mallorca on Sunday with varying degree of injuries.
The players were not part of the travelling party to Rabat, Morocco on Monday but are expected to join the team at some point if they make it to the final.
Courtois suffered a groin injury during the warm-up for the Mallorca clash.
Real Madrid have struggled for form in recent weeks, winning just one out of their last three league games.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men will face the winner between Flamengo or Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal in the final if they beat Al Ahly on Wednesday.
