Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to link up with Akinkunmi Amoo at Hammarby

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly closing in on a move to linking up with Akinkunmi Amoo at Hammarby the club he part owns.

The Juventus, Inter and Milan legend his reportedly heading home after his current stint at AC Milan comes to an end at the end of the ongoing season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined AC Milan in January on a short term deal after his contract at Major League Socccer side, LA Galaxy expired.

Since joining Milan, the former Manchester United and Barcelona striker has scored a total of four goals in eleven games, but the Swede is reportedly closing on a move back home than an extension with Rossoneri.

According to sources close to Sky Zlatan Ibrahimovic will now head back home after spell with AJax, Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester United, Inter Milan, AC Milan and LA Galaxy.

This move would be a good news to Nigerian youngster, Akinkunmi Amoo who recently joined Hammarby and cited the Swede influence in his decision.

“It’s really easy there. Hammarby have taken care of me and I have felt great support throughout,” he said.

“When I visited the club in Stockholm I became one in the gang immediately which made me happy.

“It was absolutely incredible. I was very impressed and happy,” he said.

“Zlatan is an incredibly great footballer who I look up to, but above all a very nice person.

“We talked a lot when we met and he gave me advice for the future.

“I became more confident after our conversation.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic who missed AC Milan’s first two Serie A matches post-lockdown games due to to a calf injury is now fully fit.
