Advantage Nets as they win Game 1 of Conference semifinals

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving star for Nets

Brooklyn Nets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 115-107 in the first game of their best of seven NBA Eastern Conference semifinals following their progression from the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The Bucks were the first side to qualify as they swept aside Miami Heat with minimum fuss after they won the first four games of their seven-game series, while the Brooklyn Nets had to play one more game before securing a 4-1 victory over the Boston Celtics.

Kevin Durant led the scoring for the Brooklyn Nets with his contribution of 29 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists only bettered on the night by Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokoumpo, who scored 34 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for his side.

Both teams faced each other three times in the regular NBA season, with Milwaukee Bucks winning twice and losing once. They will face each other six more times to determine who goes through to the Conference finals, the final stage before the NBA finals.
