Blessed Stars Football Academy, Dakkada FC, Vandrezzer FC, FC ONE Rocket and six others will test their might in search of next Nigeria U-20 stars.
A similar scouting tournament in 2022 produced Daniel Daga who was one of the consistent faces in the last Nigeria U-20 National team set,
Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso is expected to be present at the Uyo Township Stadium on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, with the singular aim of scouting for players to make-up the next Nigeria U-20 team.
Bosso will conduct a screening exercise to identify talented players who may be invited to join the Nigeria U20 National team ahead of international engagements later this year.
the ten particpating teams will face-off in five games.
Blessed Stars Football Academy recognized for producing players [Charles Etim and Peter Asuquo] who have represented the country in the U-17 and U-20 national teams will face Nigeria National League side Dakkada FC in the first game by 8am at the Uyo Township Stadium.
In the other games, FC ONE Rocket will face Cynosure FC by 10am while Vandrezzer FC vs Right To Win FC follows immediately after.
Hope of Glory FC vs Dominion FC is slated for 2pm before Ibom Youths FC and De Cardinal FC complete the days engagement by 4pm.
Venue for all five games is the Uyo Township Stadium, located in the heart of the Akwa Ibom State Capital, Uyo.

In preparation for the scouting tournament, Blessed Stars Football Academy who only recently acquired spot to play in the Nationwide League, have announced its squad for the game vs Dakkada FC.
