Chelsea ‘ready to spend £150m on new players’
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly keen to bring in three new players and the club are willing to hand over £150m to get the deals done.
The Premier League champions had a slow start to their summer spending, but have now brought in Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata, which has amounted to £129m.
According to The Mirror, the Blues remain interested in Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk, Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva.
Van Dijk’s future at St Mary’s looks in doubt as he was left out of the club’s squad for a pre-season trip to France, but he has also been linked to Liverpool and Arsenal.
Juve are reportedly after more than £60m for Sandro, while Conte has refused to rule out a move for Inter’s Candreva.
