Chelsea set to give Ola Aina first team chance; reject Torino option to take & Fiorentina interest
Chelsea have denied Italian side Torino the option to sign Olaoluwa Aina after deciding to give the chance to impress next season.
Ola Aina, on loan at Torino, has become an integral part of continental football hopeful Walter Mazzarri side and the Italians are wiling to activate their £8.7 million option to buy the Nigerian but Chelsea are not ready to sell.
The London club who are awaiting FIFA verdict on their appeal over their two transfer windows ban, fear losing the Nigerian could be a big risk, especially with their plans of offloading a couple of first team players which they won’t be able to replace should the ban stood.
According to the Standard, Ola Aina and another of Chelsea academy graduate Reece James are considered as potential replacement for Marcos Alonso, Davide Zappacosta and Palmeri Emerson whom the club are planning to ship out.
Hence the reason the Chelsea have rejected Torino offer to sign Olaoluwa Aina on a permanent deal or entertained Fiorentina interest in the player.
